1500 smart classes for college students in Madhya Pradesh

INDORE: Around 1500 smart classes will now help impart education to the college students across Madhya Pradesh. At present, Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) has already been running smart classes across the state in 100 government colleges. Higher education minister Jitu Patwari, who is in London, has announced to start 1500 smart classes across the state to tutor students through artificial intelligence. Patwari discussed the usage of technology by DHE and the ways to enhance the teaching through artificial intelligence with CEO of Cambridge University, Francesca Woodward. Pointing towards the fact that at present modern technology is being used in every field, Patwari said that the state needs to equip their teachers with modern teaching techniques. To ensure this takes place, efforts will be made to give education through artificial intelligence in Madhya Pradesh.

"Cambridge University will prove to be helpful in developing communication skills among the youth of the state," said Patwari while emphasizing quality education system. He said that apart from the knowledge of literary English language, there is a need to create such courses that will provide exposure to students at the international level. Patwari also met CEO of Cambridge Assessment English, Saul Nasse and CEO of Cambridge University Press, Peter Phillips. Patwari discussed plans to enhance the education system in MP with the help of artificial intelligence. Moreover, the need to teach the students in accordance with the international standards of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
